Your job is to show up at the Portsmouth dock very, very early on the morning of our departure for the island and help load the island's supply boat. This boat departs at 6 AM (double check the time with the island Logistics coordinator) so you will need to arrive at the dock around 5 AM to help load the boat. Living in close proximity to Portsmouth is essential.
All Star II brings a lot of bulky, heavy supplies to the island, mostly in the form of Social Hour supplies: boxes of food, crates of wine, and kegs of beer. You should confirm what to expect with the Chairs a few days in advance to make sure you get everything.
Supplies destined for the island will have been stored overnight in the island's storage sheds (the "Star Shed") adjacent to the dock. There are wheeled carts available to help move things, but the ramp is fairly steep and can be slippery first thing in the morning. Strong backs (and knees) are also essential.
